As an update to yesterday's drama..

Still bleeding, heavier now. They haven't gotten the readings back from the ultrasound yet, will be calling me today or Monday.

Moods continue to be on a roller coaster. Not sure how much of that is due to past history with the date and how much is actual emotional flux.

I'm sure exhaustion plays a part.

Seeing signs that I may be moved to an earlier shift at work. Praying for that.

Thinking about trying to open a new bank account with a more reputable bank. Current one is making random charges to my account and refunding them.

That disturbs me.

Getting moved to an earlier shift sounds like it'd be quite good. The hours would be better and you said the people were nicer too, didn't you? Good luck on that.

Have you asked the bank waht those charges are related to? It's not duplicate charges for when you use the debit card is it? I've heard that if you use a debit card, for something like paying for gas at the pump, that in some cases you can get billed twice, then the duplicate bill is forgiven. It's something to do with how the card acts compared to a credit card, and availability of funds. Mine can be used the same as a credit card, so I haven't seen that, though it does sound like other debit cards can have that issue.

At this point, I just want to close the account. Roho calls them The Customer Fuckers (Name is TCF Bank) for good reason.

They've done this before; every time it's always $36. I don't know if it's a computer glitch deducting from my account, or just what the problem is.. but it's aggravating.

If you have one of their Visa check-cards, any "credit card" purchase you make with it usually authorizes a higher amount than the purchase, though if it's a flat $36 each time there might be a more serious problem. Right now my checkbook balance is off $1.72 from their online balance.

While I've also been considering closing my account with them, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. They might actually pull their $h!t together.

After a year of using them, I'm ready for a real bank. Changing your information with them is a nightmare; I've tried 6 times to get the name on my account changed to my maiden name (I signed up with my married name) and even though we moved in September (and I gave them the change of address) I have not gotten a bank statement since, and they just.. won't change the address. Every time I bring in the information, they say they'll take care of it, and they don't.

To add insult to injury, they charge me a $2 service fee for not sending me my processed checks.

I've never been with a bank with such non-existent customer service. And hope never to again.
