1. Do you have a car? If so, what kind of car is it?
I drive a 1995 Dodge Dakota extended cab, and I am still in possession of my ex husband's 1992 Dodge Spirit sedan that I was supposed to receieve the title of in the divorce and never did. :P
2. Do you drive very often?
Every damned day. I have a 13 mile commute to work (one way).. through a nice rural area.. I love driving it with the windows down.
3. What's your dream car?
I used to want a Chevrolet S-10 Blazer more than anything.... but my second choice was always a truck. Now that I have one, I realized that they drink gas like water, and they're horribly awkward to manuver. So my next vehicle will probably be something small and sporty.
4. Have you ever received a ticket?
I've received three tickets in my lifetime, two of which I don't feel like I deserved. The first was speeding on a military base; I was going 45 in what the officer claimed was a 35mph zone. I was in the process of slowing down anyway, as I saw another 35 mph sign ahead, but... ah well. The second ticket was again for speeding- 65 in a 55mph zone. I was driving my Dad's truck, had the radio up, and just didn't notice how fast I was going. The third ticket was when I was hit by a schoolbus earlier this year... I was backing out of a parking spot and the bus plowed into me... I didn't have insurance on the car because of my ex; He told me repeatedly that the car was already insured but refused to give the company name, and none of the other insurance companies I spoke with would insure the vehicle. Sooo.. yeah. I don't feel like you should get ticketed for not having insurance on a vehicle that is located on private property... and I think the damned schoolbus should have been ticketed for going so fast that she couldn't avoid hitting me.
5. Have you ever been in an accident?
I have been involved in three accidents, none of which were serious. When I was about 5 years old, a woman ran a stop sign in front of my mother, and mom hit her right above the rear tire.
The second accident I was in occured while I was living in Dallas... I had to stop suddenly on the freeway and the fellow behind me couldn't stop quite fast enough. No damage on either side, so we didn't file a report.
The third accident was the above mentioned bus incident.
