"There's only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self." --- Aldous Huxley (1894-1963); writer
Urgh. Apologies for sporadic updating, I've been ill (no fever, so it's not flu), and I'm still not feeling 100%. I've been truddling along, and haven't really felt up to doing anything productive the last week or so. Today is catching up on laundry, doing a bit of homework, and rest, I think.
It's the end of week 2 on my diet, and I'm pleased with my results. I'll write more about that on the dieting filter. :)
Alan Murphy's guide to bird photography -- I know I have some birders on my friends list, and I have no idea how you guys feel about photographing the little buggers. My brother, Matthew, is a budding photographer and avid birder; according to him, this book is a Must Buy. He's really talented (my brother, not the author) and I'm trying to encourage him to create an online portfolio. Anyway, if any of you birding afficiandos are into photography, this might be of interest!
Post Secret -- I saw this on an episode of CSI, and didn't realize it was an actual website. From the actual site itself, "PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. While some of the things confessed are pretty horrible, I admit, I can understand the fascination.
I'm running low on things to share, so I need to do some surfing. -.-
Have a great day guys. Me and my DayQuil will see you tomorrow.
::edit:: Corrected Mr. Huxley's vital information. Good eye, roho!
