Art News:

Pew. Got feedback on a commission, need to do some tweaks and changes to it, and find some help drawing a different body shape. I'm in a rut. Will upload and share once changes are approved, and I was, indeed, failureface for August. I wanted to finish more work, but I only completed one painting.

Mind you, it was a very nice one, but.. still. I want better of myself. Maybe September will be good?

Current Projects:

Homework homework homework! I need to complete my Algebra assignment, I need to design and create an Access Database, I have reading to do for my Writing class, and I have to write a three page journal entry about my history as a writer (what history? I'm not a writer! I don't beloonnnggg heeeerreee!).

The writing class is a required course, because I got a job tutoring in the writing center. I still feel like there had to be some mistake, because.. duh, I'm a visual artist, not a writer. Right?

Also need to do some personal correspondence before my sister sends my neices after me in revenge. >.>

Nifty things:

Photo Realistic Pencil Drawings -- I've seen photo realism of human subjects in galleries, but never of animals. Amazing stuff! (Video of him working can be found here.)

One Stop Shop for Artistic Photo Reference -- I don't know this guy's story, but he is a -fantastic- photographer. I love flipping through the gallery (and it's huge) and marking images I can use for later drawings. I grabbed a random photo of something cool for the link, it's all wildlife photos, safe for work or children's viewings.

Have a great day folks! (One more day til Friday!)
