"Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find you have more of it." -Ralph Marston
New artwork from Anthrocon has been posted on my FA gallery, along with some older sketches that have been revamped.
Until cheekitty's remodel is complete, my new art will be posted there, check it out!
Art: I'm keeping busy, currently sitting at 4 badges and 3 full sized commissions. I'll be taking my supplies with me on vacation (we leave tomorrow), so hopefully I can start chewing through that workload.
I'm working on a few things interspersed with the commissions for the MFF Art Show. This will be the first time in 4 years I've had work in an art show, and I'm both excited and feeling some trepidation. Hopefully the stuff I bring will be well received, and go to good homes.
I got permission to post the latest completed commission online as of last night, so I shall try to get that up before we leave tomorrow.
Health: My health is an ongoing project, and I suspect I will be more successful if I take a page from haikujaguar and turn exercise into something fun. Check out her Spots the Space Marine project!
haikujaguar has also been doing a rather interesting series on mental hygeine which I found both insightful and eye opening. My own experience has shown that my mental self is in dire need of some care, and as always, I found her remarks useful in helping me to organize my own thoughts. Thanks Micah!
A walk through Gwangju, Korea - Our dear friend Nemet is in South Korea teaching English, and shared some of the views he saw on his walk this morning. I especially enjoyed the whimsical bridgeworks and lovely water features.
The Clouded Leopard Project - SEATAC leopards have a unique (if gross) way to keep cool this summer, thanks to creative keepers. I love the photo of the cub. :D
