After an unauspicious start, I had a pretty good day.

roho had to go in to work early, and therefore made the unwelcome discovery that two of our pets had accidents during the night; one on the clean laundry in his office, and one on the floor in front of the garage. The messes cleaned up pretty painlessly, but dealing with multiple incidents of excrement first thing in the morning isn't exactly my idea of a winning start to the day.

I got my exercise this morning in the form of a walk; the weather was delightfully cool and moist, and I've found that I actually do notice a difference when I get a bit of exercise. I managed to do a good deed for one of my neighbors (caught his runaway dog and held her collar for him), which left me smiling for the remainder of the day.

I got a few things accomplished around the house, although my 'To-Do' list is still dauntingly huge. I'm trying to break it down into manageable chunks and goals (ie, have X project done by Y date), and reminding myself not to stress about the whole. I have a few things I want to do before my classes start on the 25th, but it's mostly cleaning and finding homes for things. Easy stuff.

Tonight's dinner was the ubertasty chicken fried rice... I felt kind of bad making it again so soon, but I was feeling a bit uninspired, and wanted something easy that wouldn't take too long. Tomorrow's dinner will be a bit more involved, I think.

I have other things I want to write about, but the topics are personal, and I'm not quite sure how I want to address them. I suppose I'll cross that bridge later.
