Lane Bryant rocks my world.

I ordered my new jeans (along with several other items) late Monday afternoon. They said it would take 1-2 days to process my order and 6-10 business days for shipping.

They arrived yesterday. Booyah!

I didn't get everything I wanted, but I didn't want to spend too much money either. I'll probably go back in a payday or two and order a few more things and pay cash rather than use my credit card.. poor thing saw enough action this month.

Movie night last night was splendid. We took in Fargo and Harold and Maude. Nothing really prepared me for the oddness of Harold and Maude. Even the back blurb synopsis on the dvd case made it sound a lot less... well... strange. It was a fun film, traveling along the transition from rich spoiled child to... er.. rich spoiled man. It's definately worth a watch, I think chebutykin in particular would enjoy it. It's very easy to forget that the film was made in 1971, and while I thought the ending was a little odd (much like the rest of the film), I rather liked it.

I made stroganoff for dinner, and while it wasn't nearly so good as when points made it, it definately came out well! The pasta was a bit underdone, and I used too much sauce, not enough cream of mushroom soup. Ah well. Things to keep in mind for next time.

There aren't words to express how happy I am to have friends and a social life. Yes, it's been a bit busy lately, but... There's a lot less drama in our lives, and that is utterly wonderful.

I have new art to scan, I'll probably do so tomorrow morning. Sounds like we're meeting doomsey and nekosensai for lunch, which should be fun! :) I have gaming this evening, and we're going to help out AFA tomorrow.

Harold and Maude is a fabulous film. My mom made me watch it when I was a kid, and I've loved it ever since. (Yay, mom!)

I really really enjoyed it. It took me a bit to get over the utter bizarreness of the film, but.. It was fun! :)

Lane Bryant rocks my world.

I doubt that there will ever be a time in my life where I would use that phrase. :)

Oh, I don't know. I saw a fabulous pair of clam diggers there in just my size!

I received a catalog for men's clothing along with my stuff (and the usual catalog of women's clothing), so... you never know. ;)

Speaking of AFA, doomsey and I are interested if you're going on Sunday. It turned out that we were able to order a katubah online today, so we don't have to go shopping tomorrow. Would you mind having help?

That would be utterly Awesome. I know Kim would be delighted to have more hands to help (She's the director). Wear clothes that you can get muddy/grungy and be at our place around noonish? :)

If you want, can arrive a little early and we can do brunch or something?
