It's been... a day. Today is the last day before I start Atkins again, and I can't help but look upon the morrow with a bit of trepidation. I'm sure that as long a sI stick to the diet, I'll be fine... but sticking to the diet has been a problem for me in the past.. I'm just hoping that I'll show enough success that it'll be easier to stay motivated this time around.

Today has been rather low key... I did some laundry and light tidying. Our bedroom feels less oppressive than it did before, which pleases me to no end. I've been reading the Harry Potter books all weekend, and I'm about 3/4 of the way through book 4, Goblet of Fire. This concludes the set I already purchased, so I must look to getting books 5 and 6. I'm really enjoying the series, and I really can't wait for the new movie to come out.

I've had a few problems this week with anxiety and listlessness; I feel fairly certain I know the cause of the problem, I'm just hoping that I'm right, and that it passes quickly. It's really become a drag.

Tonight, we have dinner with some of Bren's old college buddies- It should be interesting; they're all a huge bunch of geeks. Fun geeks though.

I don't feel it necessary or appropriate to broadcast my New Year's Resolutions (Although I'd certainly like to write at least a few lines in my journal every day).. but I will be reminding myself of two very important numbers to keep in mind as the year progresses.

Something Good: Snowy days when I don't have to go anywhere
Something Bad: dirty litterboxes
