I took an occurance today, since I seem to have picked up whatever bug was plaguing feren earlier in the week (last week?). The morning was spent rather lethargically sprawled out on the couch, sketching a bit here and there, and watching TV. I still haven't learned my lesson not to watch Emergency Vets on Animal Planet, and found myself crying along with the poor owners of two animals that had to be put down.

Around noonish, I curled up in bed with Cailet and Marcus (!!!) and had a nice long nap. Woke up groggy and disoriented, but felt much better after a shower. (Hot shower can cure nearly all your ills, I swear)

After that, I went to Wal-Mart, because some of my clothes are... well.. old. A pair of sweatpants that lasts 7 years has definately paid for itself and needs to be replaced. I found quite a few goodies on clearance that I quickly snatched up. Some, I think I will need to return, as they don't fit me as well as I had hoped (I hate trying on clothes in the store), and I'm hoping the store will let me return them without too much hassle. (It just now occured to me that returning sale items may be a problem. Guess we'll see.)

Now it's raining, and Marcus is in the window sill going nuts looking out. Fennec is on his way home, and when he arrives I'll probably kidnap him for another nap, or at least, a nice cozy laydown. I'm still tired and feeling a bit ill, but the fever that plagued me throughout the night seems to have gone away for good, and I don't see anything that should prevent me from returning to work tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm still waiting for my ebay purchase to arrive (quite anxiously, I might add), and have spotted some really neat boots I think I'll go pick up next payday.

I'm enjoying ITunes.. my only complaint is that I can't minimize it to my system tray like I can with Winamp, and Semagic evidently can't detect music playing on it. =)
